Unbelievably, we held our last dance class back in March 2020 – Well over a year ago !!
So the ‘green light’ is Monday July 19th 2021. So what does this ‘green light’ really mean?. The end of all restrictions ? – of course not..
In our opinion, the only change will be that we can gather inside in groups of more than 6 people – i.e. we are officially and legally able to hold a ballroom dance class again without fear of reprisals !
As a dance club, we will continue in the spirit of the lockdown rules – e.g. we will sanitize as moch as possible chairs, tables etc, and ask couples to keep to the same seats throughout the lesson. All of our pupils will have been double-jabbed and obviously will not attend if they’re not feeling well.
We genuinely do not foresee any problems – we’re not after all one of the 60,000 attendees at Wembley or Wimbledon the other week.
Covid apart, we’re sure everyone will be just glad to be able to join in a social activity at last and the best of all social activities – ballroom dance.
So, once again, welcome back everyone – also a warm welcome to the newcomers we hope to meet – and we both hope you’ll enjoy learning to master the beautiful art of ballroom.
